HDZ head Dragan Covic told press on Monday that he would meet with Fahrudin Radoncic, leader of the SBB party, on Wednesday. Covic is eager to recruit the SBB into the Federation’s ruling coalition, now that the Democratic Front has pulled out. Radoncic has long been at odds with Bakir Izetbegovic, who leads the other coalition party, the SDA.
“We’ll talk about everything, including the possible partnership in the Government, but I need to hear [Radoncic’s] opinion on everything first,” Covic told media.
Covic maintained that new partner is needed instead of DF, despite the statement by president of SDA Bakir Izetbegovic who said this coalition still exists and new partners are not needed.
