Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik and Prime Minister Zeljka Cvijanovic met with Principle Deputy High Representative David Robinson earlier this week. Both the president and the PM pointed out in their meetings with Robinson that the RS had formed a new entity government immediately after last year’s elections, while parties in the Federation stalled. The leaders also stressed the entity’s timely adoption of reforms in response to EU conditions.
Dodik said that conditions for BiH to get an EU candidate status are now more demanding then before, and reminded Robinson of previous conditions the EU put before BiH, as well as of a proactive role Republika Srpska played the whole time in the process of meeting these conditions.
