Speaker of the Republika Srpska National Assembly, Nedeljko Cubrilovic, met on Thursday with British ambassador to BiH Edward Ferguson. Mr. Cubrilovic assured the ambassador that the RSNA was “committed to reforms, progress and creating conditions for a better future.”
He recalled that the National Assembly had backed the initiative of the heads of diplomacy of Great Britain and Germany, and that by unanimously adopting the Written Commitment to Reforms in the framework of the Bosnia and Herzegovina’s EU Accession Process it showed the commitment and resolve in meeting EU standards, the office of the parliamentary speaker said in a press release.
The two officials agreed that it was very important to keep building inter-parliamentary cooperation, both between Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH, and with other countries’ parliaments in order to share positive experiences and good practises.
