After two unsuccessful attempts, members of the BiH House of Peoples voted in a new speaker and two deputy speakers on Monday. The HDZ’s VBarisa Colak will serve as House Speaker, and Ognjen Tadic (SDS) and Safet Softic (SDA) will serve as Deputy Speakers. This process moves BiH a step closer to forming a new government.
The Bosnian presidency last week approved Denis Zvizdic from the Party of Democratic Action, SDA, as the new president of the Council of Ministers, and he is expected to propose his new government in the coming days, which will then be voted on by both houses of the state parliament.
