Marko Pavic, president of the Democratic People’s Alliance (DNS), told reporters that he planned to add his signature to the current version of the joint statement of commitment to EU-sponsored reforms, which was drafted bu the BiH Presidency with input from party leaders.
Along with the SNSD and other Serb parties, the DNS objected to the Presidency’s original statement, on the grounds that it overstepped the jurisdiction of the BiH-level government.
[Pavic] added that the original version of the statement was fatal to the constitutional order of BiH, and that the opposition then kept silent and accepted it, but that they do have something to say now, after DNS, SNSD and SP managed to incorporate the observance of the constitutional order.
