The director of UAE-based Buroj Property Development signed an agreement this week with Ibro Berilo, Mayor of the city of Trnovo in Republika Srpska, concerning the building of a new tourism center. The new development will reportedly include a massive shopping center, hotels, and thousands of housing units.
“We came here to work with the BiH authorities as a partner with the goal of ensuring that profits and benefits from our joint project are shared between Buroj Property Development and BiH citizens,” said [Buroj Property Development’s director Ismail] Ahmet, adding that the firm he represents intends to assist BiH in becoming one of the leaders in tourism in the countries of the neighborhood and beyond.
Such a project, he believes, will not contribute just to direct revenue from tourists, but will directly and indirectly create the opportunity to employ thousands of people.
