HDZ president Dragan Covic told reporters that his party expects to receive at least six seats in the Federation government, the formation of which should be finalized “in the coming weeks.” Covic also expects at least three ministries in the BiH-level Council of Ministers.
“At bare minimum, five Croat and one Serb positions are ours. That means, six of the total seventeen, and I think that we will absolutely have these,” said Covic.
He added that, when it comes to the structure of the state government, they will have to sit with the Serb parties that make up the structure of government and Croats will have a minimum of three ministerial and four deputy portfolios on the Council of Ministers.
He said that he will not permit anyone to enter executive government in order to “settle into some chair” for the next two years.
“In these two years we are resolving all the problems of life, both for every people and all citizens in BiH,” said Covic.
