Fadil Novalic, head of the SDA’s Economy, Finance, and Privatization Board, told reporters he hadn’t been involved in any talks on government formation, and was too busy with economic issues to pay attention to rumors that he might be on the short list for the Federation premiership.
“I don’t participate in these intraparty meetings because my job is linked with the work on this economic program, a Sisyphean task that demanded quite a lot of attention in the past five to six months, such that I was focused on that. Everything I’ve heard on these issues comes from the media,” said Novalic.
According to him, the basis of the economic program is reducing public spending, reducing obligations to work, improving the business environment, amending the law on labor, activation of resources, support to business activities and the social sphere that must remain in the zone of tolerance.
