In statements to the press this weekend, Republika Srpska president Milorad Dodik spoke against anti-Muslim sentiment, saying that “Regardless of the fact that the majority of members of these terrorist militant groups come from radical Islam, I say clearly that not all Muslims are terrorists,” and warning against any “collective perceptions and judgments.”
“I tell the citizens of Republika Srpska that we should have full tolerance toward various religious groups and together build and preserve the peace that is sacrosanct,” said Dodik.
He warned that everyone who breaks the law will face consequences and no form of threat to public order, peace, and the security of citizens will be tolerated.
