Mladen Ivanic, current chairman of the BiH Presidency, met on Wednesday with Serbian president Tomislav Nikolic to discuss relations between BiH and Serbia. President Nikolic said that Serbia will “make every effort” to improve conditions in BiH, while improving relations with Republika Srpska “within the framework of the Dayton Agreement.”
He also underlined the need for the entire region to invest efforts together with the EU to ensure that BiH is not an isolated part of the Balkans, turned to internal rifts, but that it capitalizes on the fact that members of the three peoples live in it, and attract investors from across the world.
Ivanic said that there are many disagreements between the three constitutive peoples, and it requires a lot of time to change that.
