Speaking to press on the occassion of the 19th anniversary of the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement, Republika Srpska prime minister Zeljka Cvijanovic remarked on the importance of the status of the entity as established by the accords.
Cvijanovic said that one can expect pressures aimed at changing the constitutional order in BiH and reducing the powers of Republika Srpska, but that it is important how politics and institutions of Srpska are functioning in this regard and what is the attitude of individuals towards this issue.
“It is very important that institutions, politics and individuals do their part of the job, and this is to preserve the Dayton status of Republika Srpska and to continue to economically and politically strengthen it.”
