Leading politicians have voiced approval for the new initiative announced yesterday by representatives of the UK and Germany. The plan would have the BiH government commit in writing to certain reforms, while the UK and Germany would push the EU to unlock additional pre-accession funding.
Current BiH foreign minister Zlatko Lagumdzija praised the plan, as did the leaders of the SDA, HDZ, and SNSD–the parties poised to form new governments in BiH and the entities following last month’s election.
