Igor Radojicic, vice president of the SNSD, said in a press conference last week that the SNSD, SDA, and HDZ should begin forming a new BiH Council of Ministers, as the parties with the most seats in parliament after this month’s elections.
“It is certain that already now, we can say that there is a clear majority in the BiH parliament for forming a new Council of Ministers. The victor parties in both entities, the SNSD and their coalition partners in the RS, and the SDA and HDZ in FBiH, already mathematically have the capacity to be able to form a new Council of Ministers,” said Radojicic, noting that with this the earlier situation about negotiations that last a year to form the government on this level would not be repeated.
They also respect the principle of rotation, and the SDA should now take its place as chair of the Council of Ministers.
Without going into with whom the parties that won the most votes in FBiH would enter into coalition, Radojicic said that the SNSD is interested in participating in the FBiH government.
