The Office of the High Representative announced today the appointment of David M. Robinson, a career US diplomat, to the post of Principle Deputy High Representative and Brcko Supervisor.
Before arriving in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Robinson served as the Assistant Chief of Mission in the US Embassy in Afghanistan. Prior to this, he served as Deputy Assistant Secretary in the US Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration, with responsibility for Europe, Central Asia, and the Americas and for worldwide refugee admissions, among other responsibilities.
Mr. Robinson replaces Tamir Waser, who was appointed to the PDHR position less than a year ago.
