The German Federal Government hosted a conference of leaders of the Western Balkan states today in Berlin. High-ranking officials from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia, along with representatives from the European Commission, Germany, France, and Austria, gathered for multilateral and bilateral discussions of regional projects, and the countries’ relationships with the European Union.
The German government’s press office released the full text of an official declaration, to be signed by the heads of government of each state.
