Commenting on High Representative Valentin Inzko’s recent decision to lift bans on 30 individuals who were previously prohibited from holding public positions, RS president Milorad Dodik suggested that the bans were lifted when they were in order to benefit the SDS–the main RS opposition party–in October’s elections.
“A few days ago they unblocked some funds. They could have waited ten days before the elections, so everything would be clear to everyone,” Dodik told reporters in Trebinje.
According to Oslobidenje, the OHR also released holds on over half a million KM in funds belonging to the SDS.
