Milorad Kutlesic, president of the Republika Srpska Association of Military Pensioners, told press that authorities in the Federation are obstructing pensioners’ attempts to reclaim apartments previously furnished to them by the government of Yugoslavia.
Several cases are currently before the European Court of Human Rights, which has previously ruled in favor of a pensioner in such a case. The Federation, meanwhile, has put forward new legislation that would make it nearly impossible for pensioners to win such claims.
