Following the most recent round of the EU-sponsored Structured Dialogue on Justice, the European Commission has published its recommendations. This round was the first to include discussions of “additional rule of law matters,” which the EU insisted on including in the Dialogue, despite the objections of some other participants, who argued that new topics should not be added before the Dialogue’s original goals had been met.

This round of talks was preceded by a preparatory session, from which several representatives of the RS and BiH were excluded, and which determined the new, expanded agenda for the Dialogue.
