Following an inflammatory statement allegedly made by Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Republika Srpska president Milorad Dodik met with Serbian prime minister Aleksandar Vucic to discuss the implications of Turkey’s apparent bias in favor of Bosnian Muslims.
President Dodik told reporters in Belgrade, “Turkey’s intentions are dangerous to us because their policy is turning out to be one of taking sides and protecting only the interests of Bosniaks.”
Turkey’s ambassador to Serbia, meanwhile, denied that Mr. Erdogan had ever made the statements in question.
