In its meeting this week, the government of Republika Srpska adopted conclusions concerning the latest round of the EU-sponsored Structured Dialogue on Justice. The government concluded that RS representatives to the Dialogue should insist that defining the jurisdictions and structures of the BiH Court, Prosecutor’s Office, and HJPC be made priorities of the Dialogue, along with implementation of a new war crimes strategy, and a comprehensive implementation of the European Court of Human Rights’ Maktouf and Damjanovic decision.
The government also concluded that no significant progress had been made by the SD process over the three years since it began, and that this lack of progress should be discussed with the EU and other SD participants.
