Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic had planned to attend centennial events in Sarajevo, along with leaders from Republika Srpska. However, President Nikolic changed his plans after learning that Sarajevo city authorities planned to hold commemorations in a historical building with anti-Serb placards.
“That is not the way we will be reconciling,” Nikolić added, stressing that he “cannot go to a place where his people will be accused.”
[Serbian member of the BiH Presidency Nebojsa] Radmanović also decided not to attend the Sarajevo event, of which he informed the EU, added Nikolić.
