The United Nations Security Council held its semi-annual discussion of the situation in BiH last week, opening the proceedings with a report from High Representative Valentin Inzko. Mr. Inzko’s report focused largely on what the HR portrays as challenges to the integrity and sovereignty of BiH from Republika Srpska.
Russia’s representative followed Inzko’s speech by recommending to the Council the report prepared by the RS government, to counter the HR’s tendency to “blame [Republika Srpska] for all the political ills in Bosnia and Herzegovina.”
