During an official state visit to Turkey’s capital, member of the BiH presidency Bakir Izetbegovic met with Turkey’s president, prime minister, and other officials. Speaking to press, Mr. Izetbegovic praised Turkey’s progress and its support for BiH, and called for more Turkish investment in the near future.
“Perhaps our trade exchange at the moment is not at a satisfying level, but I hope that in the future it will increase. We expect even more investors from Turkey to invest in our country. Especially expressed are our needs for a team in the sectors of agriculture and industry. A Turkish loan of €100 million is to be used for agricultural development and assistance to returning displaced persons,” said Izetbegovic.
