Fahrudin Radoncic, head of the Alliance for a Better Future, or SBB, has been dismissed from his position as BiH Minister of Security. The House of Peoples confirmed the dismissal on Tuesday with a vote of seven in favor, two against, and two abstaining. The initiative to remove Radoncic, put forward by the SDA, alleged that he had failed, as Minister of Security, to do everything in his power to prevent injuries and damage to institutions during the public demonstrations that swept the Federation in February and March.
For his part, Radoncic told reporters that he was “glad” to have been dismissed, as his ouster was orchestrated by “the three least popular politicians in the country.”
“Those are Izetbegovic, Lagumdzija and Milorad Dodik,” Radoncic said, referring to Bakir Izetbegovic of SDA, Zlatko Lagumdzija of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, and Milorad Dodik, President of Alliance of Independent Social Democrats, SNSD.
“In that sense I can be very satisfied,” he added.
