Republika Srpska Prime Minister Zeljka Cvijanovic told press today that she had received a letter sent by Russian President Vladimir Putin to the leadership of BiH and the entities. The letter concerned the impact of the current conflict between Russia and Ukraine on the supply of natural gas from Russia. PM Cvijanovic stated that she expects the issue to be resolved.
PM Cvijanovic also said that despite the current crisis, the RS is committed to moving forward with the South Stream pipeline project, and that the RS welcomed cooperation with the FBiH on the project, but would proceed alone if necessary.
