The Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom has announced the appointment of Mr. Edward Ferguson to replace Mr. Nigel Casey as ambassador to BiH. Mr. Ferguson’s career to date has been spent in the Ministry of Defense; he will transfer to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office before taking this post.
Mr. Ferguson has not served in the Balkans before, but has headed the Ministry of Defense section for North America and Western Europe, among other posts.
