The shareholders’ assembly of Elektroprenos, the energy company owned jointly by the entities of BiH, adopted a three-year investment cycle plan as well as a plan for disbursing profits, in their meeting on Monday.
Republika Srpska Prime Minister Zeljka Cvijanovic, who, together with her FBiH counterpart Nermin Niksic, attended the session, told reporters that of the planned KM 333, 8 million for investment, KM 137.2 million should go to Republika Srpska.
As far as the distribution of profits is concerned, Republika Srpska should get KM 40 million.
Cvijanovic said that the money will be used to meet outstanding obligations, primarily in agriculture, but also for incentives for exports.
The issue of what to do with the company’s surplus has been a matter of contention between the entities and the international community.
