After SDA members of the BiH House of Peoples used the Vital National Interest provision to block new legislation concerning the organization of the Elektroprenos energy company, RS Prime Minister Zeljka Cvijanovic defended the rights of the entities to their share of company profits.
[Cvijanovic said] that on December 23, the first assembly of Elektroprenos shareholders will be held, when it should be decided on what the personnel structure will look like, how the new administration will formulate demands before it, and when financial reports are expected to be adopted.
“We are behaving normally, as two co-owners of a joint company. We are adopting needed documents, defining what should be done to get the money that belongs to us. As it belongs to all other shareholders, so also does it belong to the Entities,” Cvijanovic said.
The SDA’s action came after EU and other foreign representatives spoke out against the new legislation.
