Chairman of the BiH Presidency Zeljko Komsic has spoken out against the government’s recent and previous arrangements with the International Monetary Fund, and said that he will refer the matter to the BiH Constitutional Court.
“The arrangements with the IMF were unconstitutionally and illegally set and signed,” Komsic asserted. “None of the arrangements was ratified by parliament and the presidency, just as no one ever approved them to be negotiated,” he added. Komsic argued that this would mean illegal debts, too. “A logical question is who unconstitutionally and illegally indebted the country, and why, for billions of dollars that our grandchildren will still be repaying,” Komsic said.
