In comments to reporters on Tuesday, President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said that a new salary and benefit system was needed in the entity’s health sector.
“The Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Dragan Bogdanic, will be tasked with this matter, since some directors of Health Centres receive greater wages than the highest Republika Srpska officials,” Dodik told reporters in Banjaluka.
He said that the accountability of people employed in the health care must be reinforced.
