Cvijanovic: 2014 Economic Policy Will Boost Employment, Help Businesses – SRNA

At a Saturday press conference in Banja Luka, Republika Srpska prime minister Zeljka Cvijanovic  presented the working version of the RS government’s economic policy for 2014. The PM said that the objectives of the plan are to “increase economic activity and employment, as well as to increase the competitiveness of business in Srpska.”

“It also includes stability of public finances, creating conditions for reducing insolvency of business, improving the status of all categories of population, improving the financial sector and European integration, as well as strengthening regional cooperation,” Cvijanovic said.

Republika Srpska’s finance minister, Zoran Tegeltija, presented the draft budget for 2014 at the same press conference. He said that RS expected to see an increase of KM 11.5 million in revenue over previous projections.
