After Council of Ministers Chairman Vjekoslav Bevanda decided to suspend government meetings in Sarajevo due to “security concerns,” the Council held discussions on a crucial border agreement by telephone. The new border regime would allow BiH and Croatian citizens living near the countries’ mutual border to cross back and forth without passports after Croatia joins the European Union. Now that the deal has been approved by the Council of Ministers, it will go to the BiH Presidency for final review before being signed by ministers from both countries.
