The BiH Constitutional Court ordered late last week the release of Federation President Zivko Budimir, ruling that his incarceration was not justified by the facts of the case. Mr. Budimir was arrested in late April on charges of accepting bribes in exchange for pardons, in the midst of a wider political crisis in the Federation.
It is likely that the BiH Prosecutor will appeal Mr. Budimir’s release.
