Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik told press that he would meet with Prime Minister Dzombic today, after which the PM and the rest of the RS government would officially resign. Resignation is the first step in the constitutional process of forming a new government.
Everything will be conducted efficiently to have the resignation of the RS Government. The proposal of a [new] Prime Minister will follow, and in a day or less the structure of the new Government will become known, Dodik told reporters. He added that the names that had been mentioned in previous reports were not “even closely accurate.” He said that three to five days are needed to schedule a special session of the Peoples Assembly of RS and that Srpska will have a new Government after that.
According to other reports, Dodik plans to replace “four or five” members of his government, while the rest would be reinstated.
