The former director of the Knin Museum, Milojko Budimir, told SRNA that during the civil war in Croatia, he saved from destruction a collection of sculptures and paintings of Ivan Mestrovic, and the library of the Franciscan Monastery in Knin…. “As a reward, I was expelled by the Croats together with my people. I lost all my property. No one has yet apologized for what they did,” says Budimir, who is now an adviser to the Serbian Historical Museum and the president of the Alliance of Refugee and Other Associations of Serbs from Croatia.
