SDA members of the Federation’s House of Peoples blocked a vote of no confidence, claiming that the move to dissolve the current government would threaten the “vital interests” of Bosniaks. The Federation parliament’s lower house approved the measure, but after the House of Peoples’ vote, the measure cannot go forward without approval from the entity’s constitutional court.
“If the court says it has nothing to do with vital ethnic interests, this decision will be considered as being adopted by a simple majority,” said Speaker of the House Radoje Vidovic.
