President of the BiH Presidency Nebojša Radmanović met with US Ambassador Patrick Moon today to discuss the political situation in BiH. According to the statement of the Presidency, Radmanović and Ambassador Moon discussed the implementation of the Sejdić-Finci judgment and the disposal of military property.
“[Implementation of the Sejdic-Finci decision] must be a priority for all domestic politicians if the country desires to move forward,” said Mr. Moon.
Mr. Radmanovic stressed that an “asymmetrical solution to this issue” would be acceptable, and might be “the only realistic solution in the current circumstances.”
The two men agreed that tomorrow’s visit of the NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen could initiate a negotiation process for the implementation of the Defense Property Agreement that was reached earlier.
Radmanović repeated that Republika Srpska is not against the Defense Property Agreement, but requires guarantees of disposal of other state property.
