Chief of the OSCE Mission in BiH Fletcher M. Burton met with BiH Chief Prosecutor Goran Salihović today. The two discussed the cooperation between the OSCE and the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, especially on the future prosecution of unresolved war crimes cases, as well as the steps that need to be taken in order to secure efficient prosecution of war crimes cases and establish the rule of law.
Mr. Burton also told the chief prosecutor that the OSCE is will soon offer the BiH Prosecutors’ Office additional assistance, including funding for salaries, training and education, and operating expenses.
