The European Court of Human rights heard complaints last week brought against the Court of BiH by two men, a Bosniak and an Iraqi, convicted by the Court of war crimes committed during the 1992-1995 war.
The two men claim that their trial was unfair because it was conducted by international judges appointed by the High Representative, who were thus not independent. They also argue that their trial was conducted according to unnecessarily harsh laws.
