After meeting with RS officials in Banja Luka today, US Ambassador Patrick Moon told press that he hoped to see BiH leaders make progress toward meeting conditions that would allow for the closure of the OHR. He expressed confidence that this week’s upcoming multi-party talks in Mostar would result in real progress.
Ambassador Moon also reiterated his opposition to RS president Dodik’s proposal for demilitarization, though he agreed that the BiH Defense Ministry is in need of reform.
