The leaders of BiH’s two leading Croat parties, HDZ 1990 and HDZ BiH, held bilateral talks yesterday in Mostar. The leaders announced their support for the Dodik-Lagumdzija agreement and for the EU Road Map. They also spoke about the need to protect the rights of Croats along with other minorities, and complained that under the prevailing system, Croats lack the representation that Serbs and Bosniaks have in BiH.
“As long as we do not recognize each other as three constituent peoples which have equality and the same position,” HDZ 1990 leader Bozo Ljubic said, “we will not end this political and institutional crisis.”
