RS President and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik met yesterday with Zlatko Lagumdzija, Minister of Foreign Affairs and leader of the SDP, to finalize agreements between the two parties on a wide range of political and economic issues. Matters covered by the agreements include the division of profits from Elektroplanos, the BiH-owned power utility, as well as changes to the system of prosecutorial appointments in BiH and the entities. Agreements were also reached concerning certain aspects of monetary policy, the BiH Central Bank, the electoral law, and the Law on State Services.
President Dodik said that he hopes the other parties in BiH will endorse the bilateral agreements. However, SDA leader Sulejman Tihic criticized the agreement and accused Dodik and Lagumdzija of trying to “dissolve Bosnia-Herzegovina.”
