Dacic Says Region Lacks Cooperation – BIRN

Addressing a conference in Belgrade, Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic said that the countries of the Balkan region must move beyond their troubled pasts and build new frameworks for cooperation. Dacic cited major issues for the region, such as the status of Kosovo and the uneven progress of countries like Serbia, Croatia, and BiH toward EU membership, but stressed the potential for fruitful cooperation.
