EU Commissioner Štefan Füle and Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjørn Jagland issued a statement today expressing “great disappointment” with the failure on the part of BiH leaders to submit an agreed-upon proposal to implement the Sejdi-Finci judgment. The EU’s “roadmap” stipulated that BiH parties were to present such a proposal by the end of August.
The main parties of BiH have each forwarded their own proposals on the matter to the BiH Parliament, but no unified proposal has yet been presented to the EU.
