According to local reports, authorities within the Federation are planning a major “reconstruction” of entity-level governmental structures. Though the initiative is still in the planning stage, the process may include redrawing of canton borders and a reduction of the total number of cantons. This restructuring process is said to have the support of foreign diplomats.
