Anglican activist-priest and self-described “peacebuilder” Donald Reeves shares some of his observations from a decade of working in the Balkans. In Reeves’ view, the best hope for peace and progress in BiH rests with popular mobilization and the empowerment of civil society, rather than with local politicians (who, he claims, generally do not have the confidence of the people) or with foreign powers or experts.
