Bosnia and Herzegovina Delays Elections in Mostar – ISA Intel

The BiH Central Elections Commission has decided to delay local elections in the city of Mostar due to the local authorities’ failure to implement reforms to the elections law. The controversy between local Bosniak and Croat political leaders centers on the allocation of city council seats.

It is reported that representatives from both sides are hoping for intervention from the international community to solve the deadlock, and the High Representative may be willing to step in.
