Chairman of the BiH Presidency Bakir Izetbegovic has said he will stay away from the inauguration of Serbia’s new president, despite a personal invitation, due to Nikolic’s controversial rhetoric. Izetbegovic is not alone; a number of regional leaders are refusing to attend, citing “inflammatory” statements by Nikolic on ethnic relations in Serbia and the region.
