Norwegian diplomat and former UN envoy to BiH Thorvald Stoltenberg remarked, during an interview with Radio Free Europe, that during the civil war period, diplomats who were seen as “pro-Serb” faced criticism and stigmatization. According to Stoltenberg, anti-Serb sentiments were expected and encouraged among representatives of the international community.
