Commemoration in Donja Gradina

Top RS and Serbian officials attended commemoration events on Sunday at Donja Gradina, part of the Jasenovac concentration camp complex, where hundreds of thousands of Serbs, Jews, Roma, and others were killed during the Second World War.

Speaking at the event, Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic said that “our debt to innocent victims is to never let them fade into oblivion. Such crimes, unbefitting reason and civilized society, must not be forgotten, nor should any society based on morals allow amnesty for the criminals.”
